Kitlinx tries to cancel unavailable items "holding orders" but it's not
an easy task with a constantly flowing inventory.

Scale Model Show will be
held in Farmington Utah on Saturday October 10, 9am-5pm. Kitlinx will
not attend but we are the sponsor of several awards

Portrait Busts
Kitlinx is
holding a "competition" to
render a Maddog 1/4 bust with ACCURATE FACIAL FEATURES & COLORS. We
are part of the FB group "New
Standard Museum Mannequins". The
painting of a figure is very difficult and require many shades and
details. One of their amazing work is showing below. The Rules are:
1. Use one of Maddog 1/4 scale bust (remember it's ABS filament, so it
might require you to slightly smooth the surface - or you can buy the
bust in resin)
2. The tunic, medals, or head gear will not be judged - it's all about
the SKIN WORK
3. Send an email to support@kitlinx.com with a picture of your figure,
with a minimum resolution of 2,000 pixels. We need to see your work
4. Kitlinx will post the various renditions before Christmas 2026. We
will ask a group of 3 independant judges (locals and reputable friends
of Kitlinx)
5. Price: $200 of credits on Kitlinx for 1st place. $100 second place,
$50 third place.
6. The winners will agree to write a short report on their experience
with the 3D printed busts, and disclose their methods.

Some comments about our 1/4 scale Busts:
Sometimes we are receiving feedbacks that the resemblance is not
accurate. One example was Josef
'Pips' Priller. Below are the "before" picture and the "updated"
rendition. "Pips" gained some weight during the war years and he was a
bit "chubby". We hope that the latest rendition makes him proud! The
only Luftwaffe pilot (with his wingman) to straff the Allied landing
beaches on D-Day! Kitlinx welcomes your constructive comments.

Update Accessories: Almost
at 30% of the remaining small lines. We
found a LOT of stuff! Decals: you may see
LOTS of decals appearing in stock. We have few hundred decals that we
finally inventoried and entered into the system. This week: Techmod,
Cutting
Edge, Aeromaster
to name a few of the bigger lines, but also some interesting lines like
Sky
Models or Americal
Gryphon. Most of these decals lines have been out-of-prints for
years!

1. We received two supplier's orders yesterday, and it's ALL SHIPPED!
2. As of last week, our International order took 3 days to "cross the
pond".
Inventory
Update
We finished the MAJOR accessory lines. Now "the devil is in the
detail". Kitlinx has 1,200 accessory SKUs distributed over 300
manufacturers. Ian has been working on 3 pages this week, 50 SKUs per
page... It's going to take some work!

that are OVER 10 in inventory - a mix of kits, books, accessories and decals.
Actually, these 341 SKUs have a count of 14,500 items! That's an
average of 43 count for each SKU!

We received TWO international orders back to back! There was one BAD
news, and one GOOD news!
The bad news is the first order took ONE MONTH to appear... it is
unacceptable. But one of the reason was Kitlinx fault. The employee
"forgot to push the 'Send Cart' button"... It is pathetic but
unfortunately true
The good news is the second order took THREE DAYS from Europe to Utah!
Kitlinx think that we have finally figured out the customs paperwork to
smooth this process... we shall see on the next order?

Accessory inventory is in full swing: We completed the line of Master Model, Gold Medal models, MR Models, RCR Models, Reskit, Squadron Dioramix and Squadron Vacform Canopies. As soon
as it was done, we are putting these lines ON SALE!

Portrait Busts
Starting a NEW Maddog series: Commission figure in 1/16th scale from a
photograph. The customer liked it so much that he ordered two!
The prints are resin and very accurate. If the commission is
"personal", Kitlinx will add $5 to the figure because we cannot resell
it on the website. But if it's a "famous" figure like Ike Eisenhower,
then the customer enjoy the affordable price of $19.99 for 1/16 scale,
or $9.99 for 1/35 scale.
